Welcome to Hansa, operated by Xlaris Ltd. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Hansa. By using Hansa, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hansa. By using Hansa, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and be responsible for activity under your account.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

Hansa may offer subscriptions and one-time purchases. The price, billing period, trial terms, and included features are shown before you purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before renewal. Payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the payment provider used for your purchase. Deleting your Hansa account does not cancel a subscription.

4. Your Content

You may submit content such as feedback, support messages, and word reports. You keep ownership of your content and allow Xlaris Ltd to store and process it only as needed to operate, support, and improve Hansa.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Hansa for illegal or unauthorised purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Hansa or its systems
• Interfere with Hansa’s operation
• Submit malicious code or misuse accounts, purchases, or support channels

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time within Hansa. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse Hansa. Your information will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Hansa and its materials, excluding content you submit, are owned by Xlaris Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce them without permission.

8. Disclaimer and Liability

Hansa is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, accurate, or error-free. Hansa is an educational tool and is not a substitute for professional advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xlaris Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Hansa. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within Hansa or by updating this page.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
